The viewfinder and the height of the screen are designed to prevent your nose from contacting the camera body so that you can look into it more naturally. Also equipped with an eye sensor, the image monitor turns off at the same time as looking through the viewfinder. This prevents the screen's illumination from affecting visibility during shooting, while allowing you to capture images more comfortably.
